How it all started
From an early age our founder Ryan Abshire has loved reading, writing, and sharing books. In 2020 in the wake of the COVID pandemic and two hurricanes hitting Southwest Louisiana back to back, he started distributing free books and more in the area.
Our story
Since 2020, we’ve organized events, distributed thousands of free books, and more in our community and we will keep going. We strive to connect people with resources they might not otherwise have access to.
